Building a Caregiver Community
Share the Care has recently embarked on the Building a Caregiver Community project which will increase our capacity to meet the growing demand for caregiver services in the Greater Orlando area. We have outgrown our current space, and our primary goal is to continue to make a positive impact on the lives of Central Florida family caregivers.
GOALS
The expansion addresses critical capacity constraints at STC’s current facilities, which are operating at full utilization and require modernization to support sustainable growth. The new campus will allow Share the Care to facilitate its behavioral health, wellness, and caregiver support services creating a convenient access point for families across the caregiving continuum. By enabling caregivers to provide home-based care, the Caregiver Community Project can reduce the strain on more expensive healthcare settings, such as hospitals or long-term care facilities. Preventive and proactive care for both the caregiver and the person for whom they care can result in significant cost savings for healthcare systems and families.
LOCATION
The Share the Care Caregiver Community will be located at 108–118 Wymore Rd., Winter Park, FL on the border of Orange and Seminole Counties. The project will create a centralized campus for all programs.
